Little Ville Valo... tucked up in his black jammies, with smudgy eye make-up drawing hearts all over his Scandinavian note-paper as dried, dead rose-petals float gently down from the ceiling... bless. Shame he has to chuck us the brunt of it.
Loved-up morbidity carried along by sensible metal riffs, quavering vocals and, yes, there's even an echo there. But really, it's all a bit too milky and sweet for the 'saviours of Goth rock'.
