Surely no-one's expecting anything exceptionally cutting-edge from Johnny boy these days.
And so 'Room in Brooklyn' proves-a Stonesy blues workout not a million miles away from 'Satisfaction' with a bit of 60s jangle-pop thrown in for good measure. Nowt new of course, but there's a spring in his step, and hell - this is the man, after all, who is responsible for 50% of 'The Stone Roses'.
