Dogs Die In Hot Cars - 'Man Bites Man'

Aww. Dogs Die In Hot Cars. The long rockfeedback-pushed, Glaswegian jilted-poppers, who return with a second release to date - the very much mixed-bag o' delights, 'Man Bites Man EP'.

Lead-track 'Man Bites Man' is, naturally, the highpoint: a plethora of chipper, chirpy, annoyingly upbeat, jubilant frolics, all bouncy, loopy bass and kitsch, female backing-vox; as camp as a bunch of Scotsmen can be. While the Gorky's-ism folk of 'Queen Of Pumpkin Plukes', tranquil instrumental 'Nobody Teaches Life Anything', and splendid lunacy of 'Pastimes & Lifestyles' (boasting the same chord-structure as Ryan Adam's recent solo-hit, 'So Alive') complete the diverse package.

Still one of the UK's most endearing hopes yet? You'd have to be heartless and very, very cold to shake your head.
