Like kindred, quirky funster spirits, Dog Dies In Hot Cars (yet another of rockfeedback's ever-burgeoning troupe of 'you heard 'em/heard about 'em here first' buddies), the idiosyncratic sound of Chicago's Fiery Furnaces aren't particularly easy to pin down.
This is frolicsome old-skool indie - one part Dexy's Midnight Runners, one part vintage Gomez and one part some obscure John Peel-favoured cult band who only release records on limited edition lime green 7" vinyl. Yes, friends, the Peculiar Whimsy-Pop revolution starts here...
