The classic Christian-punk vocal echo buried amidst a touching love song that, if one listens ever so carefully, could be written about the 'Big J-C' rather than the band's lovers... Hmm, potentially unsettling (depending on your outlook, bien sur).
Yes, P.O.D. never really have clinched the deal as one of the sweeping, American dreadlocked emo posse. Partly 'cos of their religious bantering - partly as their shortened name ('POD', as opposed to the more distinct 'Payable On Death') reminds you of little green sacks of peas.
Taken from their latest self-titled album released back in November, 'Will You' is a jammy and star-searching yet profoundly twiddly number. But if it'll make any major waves anywhere other than their pre-obtained fanclub is doubtable.
