A part of the conjoined ascendance with fellow Brit-pack luminaries, visionaries and masterful pop conjurers, The Open, Thirteen Senses are the furiously epic, impossibly infectious, rampantly ambitious, blanketing burst of joy that pummels as much as it soothes.
A simultaneous smattering of classic-indie - some of these guitars roar with the very same, almighty wail that first inaugurated The Smiths' 'How Soon Is Now?' into the history-books - with youthful naivity - the choral-refrain, as melodious as they come, of 'You got us into this/Now get us out of this' is refreshingly straightforward - combines to showcase a collective talent so arch, so pure, so grand that to resist would be all but useless. Rejoice: the future, in all its mesmerising, fantastical beauty.
