Placebo - 'English Summer Rain' (Hut)

The only familiarity with this latest Placebo contribution is Molko's infamous, vocal grind. Specifically more dance-y? Electronic, mixed and sampled. Sci-fi noises, and intergalactic keyboards t'ings. It's good, but not just too... safe?
The fourth single to be lifted off that surprisingly well-selling album, 'Sleeping With Ghosts' (over 1.3 million sales, and counting). Although this may be no smash hit, to Placebo it appears a simply, correctly timed release to coincide with their abundance of projects - live-shows, a DVD, etc.. Don't think Molko will be too bothered when it doesn't go top-20.
