It's what the Divine Comedy do, isn't it? More Stirring, radio-friendly pop replete with arch social-commentary; Pulp with a raised eyebrow, if you will.
Mr Hannon's on as incisive form as ever on 'Come Home Billy Bird'; a tale of the various tribulations of a beleaguered travelling businessman. Lauren Laverne, reprising the role that sent Mint Royale up the charts a few years ago, sweetly helps out on the chorus. Very droll, sir.
