Air - a band for whom the word 'ethereal' remains constantly applicable when they're being described by pesud-y rock hacks - are back.
At just over two and a half minutes, 'Surfing On A Rocket' hems in Jean-Benoit and Nicolas' dreamy 70s prog spirals with nagging guitars and a sense of purpose in place of the duo's usual, erm, ethereal soundscapes. Well, if they're going to include a copy of the Periodic Table on the sleeve, we can allow ourselves a bit of self-indulgence, eh?
