Morrissey - 'Irish Blood, English Heart' (Sanctuary)
4/5

Apparently, there's this big-quiffed guy with an exceptionally camp series of vocal-flicks and even camper set of body flails that's doing the circuit once again; you heard?
No, even trying to jest about Mozzer is impossible. Holy Hellfires, his impact is so strong that a return in 2004 has been given more press-coverage than a potential Second Coming. Fortunately, he's come up good again. 'Irish Blood, English Heart' is an insatiable grower, marking the harder-bombast of The Smiths' henchman - and, true to his tireless pseudo-capacity, we get mentions of racism and Oliver Cromwell across a thunderous, squealing barrage of riffs altogether more unsettling than a spell in The Priory.
