InMe - 'Faster The Chase'
2/5

Yipes, even still, they sound American. Yes, InMe prefer the Linkin Park camp rather than the current UK celebration of arty rock amidst their homeland. Suitably, 'Faster the Chase' howls, screams, wines, vibrates and throbs with that strange bipolar combination of mixing emo-influenced grunts with a temptation to thrash, that is (too) popular in the US.
One wonders if it's a calculated attempt to pull girls with the vibrato of 'You are my ecstasy,' and the boys with the crashing noise of animalistic grumbles, relentless guitars, and pummelling drums. InMe will undoubtedly draw the same crowds they gathered with their debut 'Overgrown Eden,' but their lack of the more universal appeal of say, the grunge era, leaves their ability to make a marked impression in music a bit more questionable in the long-run.
