The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster - 'I Could Be An Angle' (No Death)

3/5

By: Clara Burtenshaw

The Eighties Matchbox...Dearly Beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate the astral ascension of Brighton's contemporary hell's angles. From hallowed, hollering torture troubadours de rigor mortis they leave us born-again, as a marching band from the crypt crossed with the sex-crazed velvet purr of The King.

Be reassured that heaven holds a place for them as keepers of the flame of original black leather rebel Gene Vincent, and be comforted that our spleen-venting brothers B-Line Disaster will succeed in the divine role their time on temporal earth has carved out for them; menacing martyrs, crucifying Christians, and joining the spirit of Gene's battle-ravaged gammy leg, roaring 'Ah'm a-gunna kill somebody!' Ah Men.
