More organ-parping punk from the well-kempt DC/NY boys; as ragged, intricately arranged and unfashionably fashionable as you could care to grimace/marvel at.
'Little House Of Savages' is an offbeat, bizarre blitz of agitated guitars, whirling keyboards and that shouty singer of theirs doing that shouty thing of his (forming an inspired, if disorientating, cross between Julian Casablancas and Rod Stewart). It's bloody out there. But what more do you expect from an act formed from the simmering ashes of Jonathan Fire*Eater? Exactly.
