A blessing - those most overlooked of the emergent notables, folk-pop urchins The Golden Virgins, truly don't know how to fall short of 'captivating' at any one instant.
Their latest single is the most unconventional bout of genius we've heard set for the radio in recent history. 'Light In Her Window' tinkles along with gentle grace and humble warmth before erupting tumultuously into a swath of penguin-frying feedback that stews our minds, before buckling back into the refrain we'd previously warmed to. Ouch; now, that's a comedown.
