Yes, this record may smack of indie twee. But don't be mean! Banish those pernicious thoughts of teddy bear's picnics organised by Belle and Sebastian and Alfie with Fran Healy as special guest speaker (today's topic: aren't those moo-cows in the nearby field just lovely?) Let them be nice if they want to! But it's also a darn fine pop song. It possesses a chorus simply dripping with melodic, three-and-a-half-minute Teenage Fanclub-nous. Hey, it's summer... enjoy it...
