Oozing sludgy authenticity, repetitive 'All Right Now'-style riffage, reeking of JD and dungarees simplicity and boasting a b-side entitled 'Stack Shotabilly', '10 AM Automatic' tells you just about everything you need to know about The Black Keys.
As a down-home, bona fide blues Ohio twosome they may have too much in common with certain other duo who got there first; nevertheless there's an earthy excitement present here.
