Ah, Welsh townies joyfully rejoicing about the pleasures of hermaphrodites. So Britain has welcomed with warm, rather sticky arms yet another underground hilarity phenomenon. But what makes Swansea Kappa-wearers just that bit more sincerely entertaining; could it be the fact that they're actually funny?
In the same way The Darkness and Har Mar followed the lines of irony - ohh, the 70s cock-rock band; the sleazy kebab shop owner - again, GLC follow. Skinny indie boys sniggering into their Carling at some pasty West Country rappers. Splits your side, doesn't it? Yet this follow-up to the surprisingly huge smash 'Guns Don't Kill People, Rappers Do' is just as snappy and exquisitely sampled with 80s breakdowns and 'oggy oggy oggy - oi oi oi'-esque, rousing outbursts. Marvellous stuff.
