More? Yes. GLC get festively loved-up with 'You Knows I Love You' - a typically, stirringly tongue-in-cheek, bad-hop anthem, Newport-style.
It's a ballad this time. Of how the boys want to buy us 'chips down the Mecca bingo'. And scramble some jewellery from 'Argos, Elizabeth Duke.' It still cracks a smile, even though the finer rhymes and lines have been banned from the radio-edit. How GLC will continue to serenade their audience in the new year, however, without seeming tacky, hackneyed or desperate, is an issue worth addressing pronto. For now, we'll laugh along.
