Feeder - 'Tumble & Fall' (Echo)
3/5
By: Matt Tomiak
After years of middle-league indie grind, how is a band like Feeder to follow a career-best collection of songs as showcased amidst 'Comfort in Sound'?
In 'Tumble & Fall's case, start by taking their most well-worn lyrical analogy - that of 'falling down and getting back up again'. (If you've ever got a spare afternoon, why not count the total number of Feeder tracks which utilise this particular image. You'll be surprised.) Then go with a big slow-burning tune, something akin to Radiohead's 'High & Dry.' Stir well. Easy.
