Kings Of Leon - 'Four Kicks' (Hand Me Down / BMG)
2/5
By: Matt Tomiak
A two-minute burst of retrograde thrashing, like the White Stripes sans that magic je ne sais quoi, 'Four Kicks' seems just as suspicious as Jack and Meg of all music created after the second half of the twentieth century without ever really justifying its scepticism.
One of the looser offerings from their second 'Aha Shake Heartbreak' (huh?) LP, the scuffed leather jackets and life-endangering haircuts remain, but, you know what? We want more.
