'Colossal Insight'; in which Roots Manuva - Rodney Smith to pals and family, you'd hazard a guess - solidifies his position as the UK's most substantially talented and immersing rap talent, save for Dizzee.
His latest, rightfully, berates the purism of contemporary scenes, masked in a melange of rattling percussion and topsy-turvy keyboards, and lines which - truly - couldn't be anything other than absolutely, wholeheartedly, tragically British. RM: like pie and mash, only more stylish.
