Some songs are trapped by their creators, these tracks the reason why some songwriters exist without the over-prevalent 'singer-' prefix, and also for the continued presence of the cover version.
Ambulance LTD are quite the reverse: a band veritably brimming with prospects, yet tragically not so forthcoming with such viable material. As harmoniously sung and strummed as all this is, the impact is as transitory as all things beautiful without content - a beautiful woman (or man - Gender Error Ed.) without character is quickly forgotten for the next... and unfortunately it may prove just so for Ambulance LTD.
Our reservations aside though, 'Stay Where You Are' truly does possess a melancholy, yet optimistic, beauty. You may not hold them to your heart, but there's no sin in enjoying these more passing pleasures whilst they last.
