A heady blitz of New Order/Joy Division disco-parping, The Bravery are sold as The Killers meets The Strokes.
For f**k's sake.
Like we need more of those bands.
As it is, we'll rank 'An Honest Mistake' as a simply bloody decent single - 'Blue Monday' keyboards, innocuous guitar-posturing and bass-percussive swinging that'll shake indie-clubs from the spring 'til the close of '05. 'An Honest Mistake' is purest pop of the most thankfully romantic, classy and derivative sort. Don't discount it.
