We like a good bit of cynicism. 'Love Rhymes With Hideous Car Wreck' is about as gory as it gets in the downtrodden stakes.
And Blood Brothers are about as out there as it gets, too. But this is severely cool. Whining fe/male vocals entwine, guitars crash and stark drum and rhythmic accompaniment underpins the taut, raging intensity in a Yeah Yeah Yeahs-esque calamity. Random, tantrum-fuelled, it's as tailor-made for the bustle of 21st Century living as you'd imagine.
