Taken from E's latest, critically-lauded effort - massive double-album 'Blinking Lights & Other Revelations' - 'Hey Man...' is a chipper, toy keyboard and harmony-ridden return from the bearded indie-oddball king.
It's a plea for appreciation; a call for us homo sapiens to truly value having slept with 'a beautiful girl' or sat down on 'fresh cut grass', and to not let any moment slip past. Yet, this being the terminally morbid (yet elegantly enjoyable) Eels, it seems slightly unsettling all the same. Weirdly, we wouldn't have it any other way.
