It's all about Beelzebub, this - the fires of hell roasting away, acts of evil being revelled in, all kinds of unholy gubbins. But Viva Voce make the devil sound like a lovely fella, the underworld like a lovely place to visit, especially if you're a fan of lilting, upbeat guitar strummers. Even the way hand claps appear as they wistfully address some fellow with the line "you're gonna get your blood sucked out" is really rather cute.
It does solely that strum a string, clap a hand thing for one minute. It could do it for all three, but drums come in, it gets a little boring, and Viva Voce being to sound like other bands. Still, "you're gonna get your blood sucked out" is a great refrain, and there's a mental, Hendrix style solo toward the end of the psychedelic stomp. Satan would hate it. But he hates everything.
