Boy Kill Boy - Civil Sin (Vertigo)

PURCHASE FROM ROCKFEEDBACK DIGITAL DOWNLOADSNostalgia has a lot to answer for, and just because something is twenty years old does not mean it is any good, or worth reviving. Like myself, the mid eighties are over two decades old now, and popular contemporary culture can't get enough of them (unlike myself, sadly).
Remember Thatcher?
Yeah. Exactly. The eighties, bar a comparatively small number of classic records, were largely utter rubbish. Leave them where they are - in the past. Don't go completely un-ironically pillaging them to dress up uninspired, bleepy bleepy 'art' rock like 'Civil Sin', an admittedly catchy but regrettably flimsy piece of retro rock and roll remarkably similar to everything else Boy Kill Boy have released. Still, if you liked all that, you'll lap this up too, you grave robber.
Did Frankenstein teach you nothing? Sometimes, some things are better left dead.
