That's more like it. An up-and-coming artist who, for once, is well and truly aiming for the stars.
'Bluebells' is an irony-free baroque extravaganza; all grandiose piano chords and gothic-tinged lyrics about a 'love coming too late' and 'the darker days taking hold at last.'
It's reminiscent of the stately, slow burning majesty of the Arcade Fire, the bold emotional scope of latter-day Bright Eyes, and -seriously- the Johnny Cash version of 'Hurt.' Big, bold and veritably crying out for attention.
