The initial speedy rush on the senses from the off is tinged with the 90's - how could it be otherwise, when the intonation of the riff structure sways with ghosts of the Hatherley's musical past as much as it does?
It takes Charlotte a little over a minute and a half to start stamping her own feet all over the face of this track. Her intriguingly striking vocals shine in frequent cracks in this tapestry of complex rhythmic kiss chase.
As playful as it is accomplished, this fast-paced little number leaves the shades of Ash washed over with bright Hatherley colours, a sidestep enough to illustrate what she has to bring, herself, to the world of music. Neat little twists, turns and sharp lyrical hooks turn this from something moderately pleasing in to something inherently addictive.
