It's often said that they do things bigger in Texas. It's very much the case with Austin's Voxtrot, who have a veritable warehouse load of hooks across their new single.
'Trouble' marries the dulcet twinkle of vintage Gorky's Zygotic Mynci and early 00's Chicago tunesmiths The Webb Brothers to lovely effect. Flip side 'Your Biggest Fan' however is even better: a dreamy Ben Folds-meets-The Bluetones lesson in piano-pop goodness.
'The science of music is all stupid and cruel' opines singer Ramesh Srivastava. Perhaps, but right here, Voxtrot have stumbled across a beguiling formula.
