Fresh from winning the breakthrough award for their LP 'Derdang Derdang' at this years South Bank Awards, Archie Bronson Outfit return with a re-release of the ominously titled 'Dart For My Sweetheart'.
Sounding more Deep South than South London, this is pure garage rock with a country twang. Not a million miles away from 'Cherry Lips', 'Dart For My Sweetheart' speaks of more foreboding subjects, the counting lyrics talk us through a stalker-ish tale of killing someone for whom he has unrequited love, like a menacing nursery rhyme. Its thumping drums and razor edge guitars combined with Sam Windett's urgent vocal career towards a climactic chorus.
In short it's a sinister marching track, one to stamp your feet to. You'd better get your boots on.
