Bursting out of the traps like an electro Westlife, The Black Ghosts are clearly a band that are going to divide opinion.
'Anyway You Choose To Give It' is a strange affair, undeniably catchy yet at the same time inducing a form of nausea that comes only when you feel yourself enjoying something that you have an inkling is wrong. Like fellow boyband /real band hybrids Van She, they know their way around a tune, its just that... you know, it's a bit difficult to stomach. Their saving grace is that whilst Van She actually look like a boyband, The Black Ghosts are balding, which means that they have got where they are today on merit - and plenty of it.
Don't be surprised if you find this tune sound-tracking your life over the coming weeks, as whether you are listening to the radio, buying skinny jeans or even watching Hollyoaks, its highly likely that the Black Ghosts won't be far away.
