The Prayers - God Save The Prayers EP (Art Fag)
2/5

The Libertines' stranglehold on the direction of indie guitar pop has not just gripped the UK scene, but appears to have stretched to the West Coast of the US.
Coming from three members of the now defunct improv-spaz-punkers Plot To Blow Up The Eiffel Tower, if you didn't know any better, you'd be forgiven for thinking that EP opener 'Clandestino' was the latest single from The View.
Far from classy, the San Diegoans come on like a Cali-pop take on Britpop losers Menswe@r, which is much, much worse than it sounds. But hopefully this is just some elaborate joke and a smokescreen before the ex-PTBUTE guys reveal their next move.
