A crisp, polished and really f**king slick piece of drum n' bass from Australia's Pendulum is more than welcome on our desks as one shamelessly shakes their hands like a veritable stoner, totally digging it, maan.
'Granite' is a mighty fine piece of work with crashing cymbals, heavy beats and, above all, very loud crashing cymbals and heavy beats. A balance of an ear piercing sonic boom texture and high tempo recklessness is all carefully configured, but what really gets 'Granite' going is the calling of 'this is a new way!' before hurtling into a drum n' bass rhythm that's easy to spot within half a pace.
You'll be exhausted just listening to it.
