Dizzee Rascal - Flex (XL)

Now, I'm no major Dizzee fan, I'll admit that now. But there's something addictive about 'Flex'. I just have it playing in the background for a while. I guess I might dance to it, when I next feel like dancing. Takes me right back to Tales of the Jackalope, hanging off the railings thinking "I just love EVERYONE" which isn't an entirely compatible train of thought when Dizzee is playing. I'm guessing he hates hippies. That pretty much sums up the strange juxtaposition of sounds and worlds and thoughts and tunes at Jackalope...
Anyway, back to the tune. It's pretty laid back by his standards. It didn't make much of an impression live, and still doesn't really, despite its merits. The more I listen to it, the more I remember the overwhelming sensation at Jackalope - well, the music's alright, but can we go skinny-dipping in the pool now?
