'You Can Do Athletics, BTW' is cool.
It hops straight on the experimental indie-rock bandwagon currently building up a considerable head of steam nationwide. With bands like [our very own] Foals driving the train, pioneers of this kind of thing are undoubtedly destined to be propelled to the top, and I feel We Are The Physics can be included in this jovial railway analogy as forerunners.
Up-tempo, charmingly repetitive, with anthemic lyrics and catchy melodies; it's a recipe we may have tasted before, but all the same, we'd still happily go mental for it every time, whether in a club or seeing them live. What's more, 'Filming Me Filming You' (the B-side) is just as jump-up fuelled.
So in short, buy this single. You'll enjoy whacking it on as loud as possible and bouncing around your bedroom before a night out - our favourite kind of athletics.
