BUY DOWNLOADMorrissey's new single is as self referential as ever. In fact, the once wry narcissism now overshadows everything. A title as blithely self-absorbed as this calls for only one response. Does he need us?
It's a song which challenges "you're going to miss me when I'm gone" and chugs by agreeably enough, with those unmistakable chord progressions, but nothing really changes in Morrissey world. It's co-written by cohort Jesse Tobias, and is stronger than his more recent singles, but it cannot help but make one long for the previous finesse of some other band he used to be in after he 'was a small fat child in a welfare house'.
