An exciting propulsion of real blues into contemporary popular culture; Mr Scruff is breaking some boundaries I suppose in bringing something that is not typically pop to the forefront of scrutinised music. After all, here I am reviewing a jazz/blues record. It's a predicament, but one that makes me happy.
