Royworlds 'Brakes' does everything but put them on. Ouch. Unencumbered by the fear that commercial indie rock has recently produced some of the worst music, perhaps ever, in recent times (the only feeling The Feeling give us is utter misery) it's nice to finally find a band unashamed in their own pop glory.
'Brakes' starts all acoustic glitter, before a myriad of unadulterated ear splitting loveliness all mingles together into a chorus equivalent of getting an enema, you'll be running into the street a changed (wo)man.
Sure, there's a loud/quiet dynamic that's been done a million times before, but Royworld aren't about changing the face of music as we know it, just making it a little prettier.
