We wouldn't say anything bad about MGMT, they're a cracking band, but this single feels a little late in the year. It's a blinding summer anthem that's coming out just as the nights are drawing in. MGMT were certainly a summer romance but as great as the sex was, we never really thought it would last.
The track itself it great of course, it's one of the albums strongest, even though it is about a minute too long. It's got a stupidly catchy melody and is doubtlessly the band's best live track also. It's just awesome. It's like the last song you hear before you blackout from too much drugs and alcohol, and the first thing that stings your ears in the morning. It's the 'Born Slippy' for indie / electro kids; as epic and euphoric, but far more exciting.
