BUY DOWNLOADOh no... it's happening. Second album syndrome. And CSS have got it bad.
'Move', the new single from these Brazilian electroclash types, certainly leaves a lot to be desired. Sure, the guitar riff is a catchy little thing but oh - problem is it only varies once in the entire track.
Elsewhere, there are a few aspects to this otherwise poor effort that add a certain vibe of decency to the whole thing, some alright 'claps', a big pop chorus with a 'geddup-geddup-geddup' and some 'ooh-ing' that will be sure to capture the hearts of the lost children of crap pop.
But one can't help but wondering - have CSS run out of steam? Cansei De Ser Sexy their name stands for - 'I'm bored of being sexy'. And yet they continue to try to sound sexy. And I'm bored of this - it's poorly thought through, largely meaningless and the most formulaic work in their canon.
Bananarama anyone? At least they were actually sexy.
