This is a party track. I'm getting on down and shaking it like a strand of crystalline embarrassment.
I have listened to 'Bathroom Gurgle' probably about 100 times in the last few months, and my fascination with the vocals has not worn off. Samuel Eastgate nails it. What a voice! What a song!
It's all in the simplicity - verse, chorus, this breakdown of drums and falsetto vox and then wham straight into a Rocky Horror 'Time Warp'-esque debauched passage towards another break down and a massacre of wobbly noises and twinkles from numerous synths. And the final breakdown with the 'oooh's is basically aural sex.
It melts me.
