Holy F##k - Super Inuit [Live] (Young Turks)

Holy F**k are receiving a lot of acclaim at the moment - even that bald gentleman from R.E.M. and the whiny one from Radiohead have both gone out of their way to proclaim their love of the band. This, a band that are seen as so special they even release a live single at a time when nobody is even releasing singles, trying to capture the sound of their incendiary live shows.
'Super Inuit', and this rendition in particular, is a pummelling blur of rhythm and blistering noise that sounds like what you expect the future would sound like if it was sped up and was about to destroy you. It makes me genuinely upset that I haven't caught Holy Fu**k live yet, as there is something clearly very special about them. Stipe was right. Imagine Battles fighting My Bloody Valentine with nuclear arms. I now believe in Holy F**k.
