I punched a lion in the throat. I kicked a toddler in the mouth. I told my boss he was a complete f**ktard whilst standing on his desk having a right good wee. I did all these things because listening to Pulled Apart By Horses made me feel like I could. Made me feel like I should.
Oh, this is all very exciting. Its tongue is completely in its cheek but it's biting so hard on it that blood is pouring down its otherwise handsome face, covering the front row in specks of the stuff every time it shouts about attacking the king of the jungle or screams the words "ULTIMATE POWER!" over the stupidest of brilliant riffs I've heard in ages.
It's as much Future of the Left as it is Faith No More and I couldn't like it much more than I already do. But the most exciting thing to bear in mind is that this isn't by any measure their best song. When Pulled Apart By Horses unleash their full fury, the entire animal kingdom better watch their backs. And throats.
