BUY DOWNLOADQuirky organ jabs and a multitude of samba style cowbells kick us off as Golden Silvers attempt to educate us, using only funk filled beats and bass, on how to chill out and take a bit more of a romanticised view on life.
Fun lyrically but sadly containing nothing distinctively clever, there's a strong chance you could pull a few shapes on the dance floor to it, but it'll only be your feet rather than your brain that'll be particularly engaged.
In actual fact the similarity between Golden Silvers and The Virgins particularly on this effort is unmistakable. There are even Virgins-style 'whoo!'s all over the place. Who should stake a claim to the patent?
Who cares, really. No amount of whooping can stop 'New Romance' from being anything other than just... alright.
