Reading and Leeds announce more bands
5/5
By: Alex Lee Thomson

As Reading & Leeds announce their 20th line up sans sponsorship, we can rejoice - it seems that the label Carling will once again be associated with the substandard yeasty dog drool they call beer, rather than being virtually synonymous with live music.
This years line up has taken a turn for the metal with Rage Against The Machine, Metallica and... The Killers headlining. OK, well it's not completely metal, but maybe The Killers will use the slot to do all those Napalm Death covers they have definitely been itching to do.
These will be the only UK festival appearances from all three bands, so if you want to hear any three of these giant acts with the added slosh of wind, and the possible back drop of sun then get your tickets quick.
Headliners of the smaller stages include Manic Street Preachers Baby Shambles and the Cribs, but if we were you we'd head towards Dizzee Rascal, Queens of the Stone Age, Justice and Foals to get your kicks.
Though there are many more bands to be announced, bands confirmed so far include...
