The title of the E.P may be a little misleading, unless you are a fifteen year-old boy, perhaps (The band has the word Dinosaur in its name as well, so perhaps that’s apt). That’s not to say it’s bad at all, and the Leeds based trio do a good job at channelling their drama and angst in a Weezer and Blink-182 sort of way: Northern Grunge with a sexy self-assurance, an easy attraction.
I can smell the beer and cigarettes wafted through the yearning guitar, smell the sex in the throwaway charm of the lead vocals. Expect them to do well (they already are) – expect your younger brother to want to be them – expect your younger sister to run away with them.
