Plugs – All Them Witches (People In the Sky)

Whilst everyone’s throwing Lynchian landscapes around, Plugs ‘All Them Witches’ is something more of a Craven nightmare: “when you get to the gates of heaven/ I’ll be stood there with a chainsaw in my hand” Morgan Quaintance foams from the mouth behind the pings of cracked electricity and rumbling bass far in the distance, growing closer.
But if macabre musings weren’t enough, the bass led flurry of jabs ends with an electro fuelled knockout – vocoder and everything - as the band twist contemporary trend into unsettling future.
