Bernard Sumner is back! And he is angry - “what are you doing with that stupid little girl, stop your fooling!” he asks before even ten seconds have passed in the first release to be taken from Bad Lieutenant's debut, Never Cry Another Tear.
Bad Lieutenant were formed back in 2007 as Sumner, Jake Evans, and Phil Cunningham with the help form their famous friends Alex James and Stephen Morris. With such a talented bunch it's surely hard to slip up. On the evidence of this, which manages to name check both Jesus and the passing seasons in a cool way, Bad Lieutenant will be more than just another average New Order side project (Electronic, anybody?).
