Arrows Of Love - In The Year 2525
4/5

Normally, the term of supergroup is frowned upon with dismay - notable examples being Audioslave, or anything that Dave Grohl or Jack White decide to do on their days off. But if one is to delve a little deeper with something of substance, something dignified, you can find the likes of London’s Arrows of Love.
With their band members spending time in the likes of Hush The Many, Jamie T, Loverman and the Eraserheads to name a few, there's a big melting pot of music to ladle out here.
‘In the year 2525’ is a stomping lil' track that'll worm its way into your head with its ethereal vocal intro and a Motown/60's soul stomp backed with cello and much distorted guitar. Which is rather great. After all, as simple as that description may sound, sometimes it really is the simple things in life that make everything so much more worthwhile.
